José Francisco Morazán Quezada (1792 – 1842). Notably President of the Federal Republic of Central America from 1830 to 1839 and then Head of State of El Salvador from 1839 to 1840, he is considered one of the greatest military leaders in Central America and a central figure in Central American political life of the early 19th century as a leader of the liberal movement.
