Urracá. Amerindian leader native of present Panama. He remained famous for his temerity and fierce resistance against the Spanish conquistadors after the founding of Panama City in 1519. Captured, he managed to escape and join his troops. He then federates different indigenous tribes to continue the fight. He was finally killed in a battle in 1531.
