Prehistoric buffalo inspired from the Neolithic cave paintings found in the Tassili n’Ajjer mountain range located in the Sahara desert on a vast plateau in south-east Algeria. This region has one of the most important groupings of prehistoric cave art in the world and was inducted into UNESCO’s World Heritage Site list in 1982. The earliest pieces of art are assumed to be 12,000 years old.
