Norwegian Fjord horse. Endemic and emblematic horse breeding, the “Fjording” or “Fjordhest” is small and mild tempered, but strong enough to plow fields and pull timber. Its ancestors have probably been domesticated in Norway about 4000 years ago, and have been selectively bred for at least 2000 years.
