Royal Bengal tiger. With an average length of 2.5 to 3 meters and a weight of approximately 225 kg for males, it is the most well-known tiger species. It is found in India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Burma and Thailand. As at home in the forest as in the savanna and swamps, this cat feeds on large prey (deer, buffalo, etc.). Today protected in parks, this species remains very threatened.
