Masai giraffe. Males can reach up to 6 meters high and a shoulder height of up to 3.5 meters. The pattern of the hair dress consists of dark spots that serve to release heat. This species is mainly found in the grasslands and bush savannas in southern Kenya and Tanzania in southeast Africa. It is the largest of the four giraffe species found in Kenya.
