Fijian monkey-faced bat or Fijian flying fox. Very rare, this bat is found only on Taveuni, the third-largest island of Fiji, within the montane forests. With an average size of 18 cm from nose to butt, it’s also the smallest of the three fruit bats found in Fiji.
