Common or white arum (Zantedeschia aethiopica). It is widespread and can be found growing wild from the Western Cape through the Eastern Cape, KwaZulu-Natal, Mpumalanga and into the Northern Province. It has lush dark green leaves with an arrow-head shape and large pure white spathes. They grow vigorously up to 1m tall and are most adaptable, forming large colonies in marshy areas from the coast to an altitude of 2 250m.
