Western capercaillie or wood grouse. This large gallinacea lives in coniferous forests. The males measure up to 90 cm for a wingspan of 125 cm. This bird is present throughout Europe and especially in Scandinavia. It is estimated that about 75% of its population has already disappeared since 1960.
