Dromedary or Arabian camel. Its size ranges from 2.20 m to 2.50 m at the withers for the older ones and its weight varies between 400 and 1100 kg depending on the breed. His hump is a heap of whitish fat that can exceed 100 kg. It is found from the Sahara to the Horn of Africa as well as the Middle East and Australia. Very resistant in a desert environment, he can stay a week without drinking.
