Manx shearwater flying over the map of the Isle of Man. This seabird has long, narrow wings and a characteristic “tube nose”. It’s 30 to 40 cm long with a 75 to 90 cm wingspan. This bird looks like a flying cross, with its wings held at right angles to the body. It mostly travels low over the sea.
