Statue of Liberty of Budapest. Built in 1947 on the Gellért Hill over the Danube, the monument is 40 meters high. It symbolized previously the liberation of the country after the Second World War. Today, it is a general freedom symbol after the fall of the People ‘s Republic of Hungary 1990.
