Icebreaker Varma. It was built at the Wärtsilä Helsinki Shipyard, Finland and delivered to the Finnish National Board of Navigation in 1968 and put into service to break the pack ice of the Baltic Sea, thus maintaining a maritime activity between the ports of Finland and Sweden during the winter. At a length of 87 meters, the vessel was transferred to Riga in 1994 and is now sailing under the flag of Latvia.
