Kyrenia ship. This trading vessel dating back to the late fourth century BC sank on the north coast of Cyprus, where it was discovered in 1965 and subsequently restored. It is considered to be the best preserved ancient ship in the Levantine sea and a symbol of Cyprus’s seafaring history and its importance as a centre of trade.
