Cleopatra VII. Queen of the Ptolemaic dynasty, she is emblematic of ancient Egypt. Her reign extends between 51 and 30 BC. She is particularly famous for her relations with the Roman general Marcus-Antonius as well as with Julius Caesar. Defeated in 31 BC at the battle of Actium, she must then submit to the conquest of Egypt by the Romans.
