Philippine eagle or monkey-eating eagle. It is considered the largest of the extant eagles in the world in terms of length (1m) and wingspans (2m) and among the rarest and most powerful birds in the world. It has been declared the Philippine national bird in 1995. It is critically endangered bird has less than 250 breeding pairs remaining, mainly due to massive deforestation. They do eat monkeys, but not exclusively.
