Grizzly bear. It is a subspecies of the brown bear, common in Alaska and Canada. In the wild there are between 30,000 and 45,000. The males are about 1 to 1.30 m tall at the withers and weigh 200 to 350 kg. Omnivores, these bears feed mainly on salmon that go up rivers in large numbers to lay their eggs.
