Peregrine Falcon. This medium-sized raptor is known to be the world’s fastest dive bird. Its prey is almost exclusively birds. With exceptional visual acuity, it can detect a pigeon in flight more than six kilometers away. The species is present on all continents except Antarctica. This falcon does not build a nest, and mainly nests on cliffs.
